Chic_Soup_Web.pngThe new “Chicken Soup for the Nurses Soul” book was just released and I was honored to be one of the contributing authors. The featured story is about my brother Tom who was involved in a tragic accident that took the life of his wife Sharon and his son Tim. Tom was also critically hurt and suffered a debilitating brain injury. His nursing team played a huge part in his remarkable recovery. It’s an inspiring story. Over the years I have had the honor to be the keynote speaker at a number of “Nurses Week” events and Nursing conferences. Nurses are one of my all time favorite audiences. Mt. Everest, Nepal

I have climbed many mountains and had many adventures in my life. From Wall Street to Mt. Everest, from the Andes to Africa, I’ve made incredible friends along the way. For the last 20+ years I have been sharing my adventures as the keynote speaker for some of the world’s most prestigious companies and prominent associations. It is important for me to thank my climbing partners, friends and family for all their support.

I am especially grateful to my clients, IBM, The Washington Post, ABC, Kodak, Nordstrom, Merck, National Geographic, Wells Fargo, Bank of America and hundreds more. I’ve shared the stage with presidents, politicians and celebrities. It’s been a wonderful adventure and I have many of you to thank for my success. In 1986 I named my company, The Spirit of Adventure because it summed up what I believe is one of the key elements to success and happiness…the willingness to discover adventure in your life.

This blog is dedicated to exploring adventure from multiple perspectives. Keep in mind, what is an adventure for me, may not be for you. This blog will be a forum where you and I will share our past, present and future adventures and the lessons learned. You will enjoy the interviews, videos and podcasts from other adventurers as we capture their experiences.Subscribe now to catch it all. Let the adventure begin. Brian OMalley
